Miguel Costa Duarte

Miguel represents the third generation of the family, which has been involved in the insurance sector since 1921. Miguel is the company’s Chief Executive Officer, responsible for the areas of Corporate and Car Fleet, where he has played an active role in the implementation and management of insurance programmes, in the financial, industrial, communication and tourism sectors.

João Costa Duarte

João represents the third generation of the family, which has been involved in the insurance sector since 1921. João is an Executive Member of the Board. His activity focuses on the design and placement of construction insurance, including project-finance operations. He is also involved in the management of insurance programmes for major public works and renewable energy.

Catarina Câmara e Freitas

Having worked in the insurance sector since 1987, Catarina is an Executive Member of the Board of Costa Duarte, S.A. since 2007. Catarina began her career as an actuary in life assurance and pension fund management, subsequently moving onto product development and consultancy for corporate clients in employee benefits - where she currently maintains direct involvement. With experience of commercial management of indirect distribution channels, she has implemented and develops cross-selling and affinity activities, fostering insurance sales through Car Dealers.

Henrique Araújo

Henrique is an Executive Member of the board, and is based in the Porto office. His connection to the insurance market began in 1989 at an insurance company, after which he moved into the field of insurance and reinsurance brokerage. During his career he has been in charge of the negotiation and implementation of the insurance programmes of some of the largest companies in business in Portugal, maintaining a direct involvement in client service monitoring.

Martim Costa Duarte

Following over four years working in London as an account executive for the Construction Department of an international insurance broker, Martim joined Costa Duarte, S.A. in 2009 and his activity focuses on the design, placement and management of construction related insurances within the Concessions and Engineering Risks Department. He is also involved in the management and monitoring of international accounts within International Department.

Rodrigo Castro Pereira

Rodrigo entered the insurance business in 1992, and is Director of the International Department, heading a team responsible for managing and monitoring insurance programmes for multinational clients. Most of the clients assisted by his team belong to partnerships established with the International Insurance Brokers of which Costa Duarte is an associate member for Portugal.

Carlos Silva

Carlos began his career in insurance in 1997, and has always been involved in the design, negotiation and implementation of corporate insurance programmes. He is currently Director of the Corporate Department for northern Portugal and of the Institutional business area, heading a team which is responsible for the management and daily assistance of clients in a wide range of fields.

Paulo Cruz

Based in the Porto office, Paulo has been involved in the insurance sector since 1998. He joined Costa Duarte in 2011, and is in charge of attracting and assisting Corporate Clients in the industrial, commercial and services sectors.

Dídia Coelho

Having worked in the insurance sector since 1996, Dídia has huge experience in the implementation of projects to improve brokerage management and the preparation and execution of insurance programmes ad protocols aimed at affinities and market niches. She is in charge of Costa Duarte's Private business.

Miguel Gonçalves

Miguel began his career in the insurance market in 1999, and has always worked in management and implementation of corporate insurance programmes, with a particular focus on the services, tourism, real estate and financial sectors.

Diogo Faria de Carvalho

Diogo is dedicated to the insurance business since 1994 and joined Costa Duarte, S.A. in 2009 as part of a team in the Corporate business department, with the responsibility to monitor a diverse range of Clients in the industrial and services sectors.

José Aralla Pinto

José joined Costa Duarte, S.A in 1999, and heads a multi-skilled team within the Corporate Department, responsible for managing and monitoring a diversified set of clients in the automobile, financial and industrial sectors.

Duarte Maymone

Duarte joined Costa Duarte, S.A. in 1996, and is Director of the Concessions and Engineering Risks Department, specialised in the development of insurance solutions for the construction and project finance sectors. He heads a team responsible for managing and monitoring clients that operate in the fields of the environment, construction and renewable energies.

Bernardo Líbano Monteiro

Bernardo has joined Costa Duarte S.A. in 2016 as Account Executive to strengthen the international team and his role is mainly focused on handling, medium and large multinational accounts, with operations in Portugal and/or abroad.

João Santos Silva

Having previously worked for an insurance company, João took up Credit Insurance brokering in 2007. Employed in the Credit Risk department, he is in charge of new business and management of the client portfolio.
